iLab is originated from Modern French Thalassotherapy (= marine therapy). It's derived from the Greek word thalassa, meaning sea.

The origins of ancient thalassotherapy can be traced back to remote antiquity. Romans were firm believers in the virtues of thalassotherapy.

 

MONDERN THALASSOTHERAPY — FRANCE
At the beginning of the 19th century, thalassotherapy got attention in Europe originated from SPAs near the coast of Brittany, France. 
· It’s used to treat skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis
· It’s also used to relieve muscle pain and treat sport injuries of athletes
